RET. MAJOR JOE TOLLIVER.
THURS. MARCH 21, 2024
6:00PM at FAME Church
1522 14th Ave Seattle, WA 98122
32-year veteran Ret. SPD Major Joe Tolliver’s career began in 1959. He spent his lifetime fighting for equal justice in policing, increased opportunities for our BIPOC community, and help reduce racism in policing. Join us in honoring Joe’s work to help pave the path to police accountability and BIPOC leaders in Seattle. We will also acknowledge officers and police departments across Washington that initially founded BLEAW.
BLEAW, founded in 1975, sued SPD to obtain equal rights. BLEAW continues this fight for equal justice and opportunities for our BIPOC community.
